Orthodontic advice for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic

The most recent government announcement has stressed the importance of social isolation to flatten the curve and reduce the spread of COVID-19. Based on advice from the Australian government, NSW health authorities and the Australian Society of Orthodontists, we will be temporarily closing our practice and rescheduling all appointments to help reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

If you have an appointment scheduled within the next few weeks, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule. We are currently reviewing each patient’s treatment plan to minimise the impact this delay will have on your overall treatment time.

Rest assured, we are still here for you and we will do our best to keep your treatment on track. Of course, if you have any questions or concerns regarding your treatment during this time, please contact us via phone or email.

If you have an urgent need during this time, such as pain or injury or you require urgent help with your appliance, please call our office so we can determine the best course of action for your specific situation.

We will be offering virtual appointments to monitor your treatment remotely. Several instructional videos are posted below that explain how to resolve most orthodontic treatment problems at home.

Again, please reach out to us with any questions or concerns and we look forward to seeing you back in our practice soon.

Stay safe.
